This page is a static HTML file under public/stats/. The numbers are populated from a one-shot Python fetch against the public APIs above, captured to a JSON receipt log at build time. There is no Worker, no scheduled cron, no third-party SDK loaded in the browser — the canvas is empty of scripts, the font files are self-hosted (SIL OFL), and the only network call is the human's, against the source URLs in the table.
Refresh cadence: when a number on this page changes, this page is what changes. When a number goes stale and a new fetch is needed, that fetch and its timestamp are appended to the JSON receipt log. The JSON log is the audit trail the receipts are drawn from.
The MeshFleet bus count (18,404) is the only fleet-derived number on this page; it is sourced from the same /work/ card that ships the Hermes fleet proof, not re-derived. If you want the bus count to mean something different here, that is a fleet schema change and not a /stats/ edit.
Every number above claims a source URL. Paste any hool.dev URL (preset loads /stats/), and the auditor parses each .stat-card, cross-references the value against the source endpoint in the table below, and reports whether the page still matches its sources. CORS-blocked foreign sources (npm registry, PyPI, GitHub API) report SOURCE_DOWN with the explicit note to run curl <url> to verify; nothing is faked.

For every claim above (cell value, eyebrow stamp), the inspector reads data/claims-spec.json, fetches the cited source, and confirms the value still matches the source body — and that the source still resolves. Catches a class of bug no earlier inspector on /stats/ catches: a number that went stale because the underlying metric moved but the editorial hasn't been refreshed; a cited source URL that quietly 404'd. Foreign CORS APIs (npm registry, PyPI, GitHub API) read as SOURCE_DOWN from a browser tab — those rows are scored ALLOW_LISTED, not FAIL, so visitors aren't false-positived.

The P59 /fingerprint/prose-sources.json bundle is the canonicalised-prose hash registry for every public HTML file. This auditor fetches the live page (or any hool.dev path), applies the same seven-rule canonicalization the bundler uses, recomputes sha256, and compares rendered-prose to bundle-recorded-prose. Catches a class of bug no earlier inspector on /stats/ catches: a chrome block that was hand-edited in public/ but never re-bundled — visitor sees prose that /fingerprint/ says is stale. INTACT = hashes match · DRIFT = prose changed but bundle still has old hash · GONE = bundle entry missing for a requested path · OFF = path not in the audit preset's bundle whitelist (e.g. wholesale-page chrome variations).
